Mushroom Wars 2 has been proudly carrying the legacy of its predecessor. Original Mushroom Wars became one of the RTS-genre pioneers on the past generation of consoles, introducing intuitive gamepad support for controlling massive fungi hordes of up to 4000 units on the screen. We wanted to keep the authentic look and feel of the original game but make it look more modern. In the end, we came to making visuals more realistic and changed the scale a little. We recreated one of the original multiplayer maps that had been very popular to make sure that nothing was broken and the game feels the same.
